Cooperative Couples Conference
Each year Pea River Electric Cooperative sponsors one member-couple to the annual Alabama Co-op Couples Conference in Orange Beach, Alabama. Selected couples are usually involved in some facet of agriculture or agribusiness.
The Couples Conference is a three-day conference offering participants the opportunity to learn how their local cooperatives can assist them in their everyday life. In addition to Pea River Electric Cooperative, other sponsors include: Alabama Farmers Co-op, Federal Land Bank, First South Farm Credit, Southern States, Dairy Farmers of America, Auburn University and Alabama Rural Electric Cooperatives.
